. Applications may still be accepted after the deadlines, but scholarships are not guaranteed because funding is limited. About the Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program The Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program is hosted by the University of California, Berkeley, through its Rausser College of Natural Resources. The programme focuses on environmental leadership and provides a structured learning opportunity for participants interested in strengthening their capacity to respond to environmental and natural resource challenges. Environmental issues increasingly require leadership that can connect knowledge, decision-making, institutions, and practical action. Challenges involving natural resources, environmental protection, and sustainable development can affect communities, economies, public institutions, and future generations. Environmental leaders therefore need more than technical knowledge alone. They also need the ability to understand complex problems, engage with different stakeholders, and contribute to decisions that support responsible environmental management. The Beahrs Environmental Leadership Program provides a setting in which participants can engage with environmental leadership education through a combination of online preparation and in-person sessions at a leading university. The 2027 edition will take place on the UC Berkeley campus i
