Direct Crypto Contracts

Create a contract. Get paid wallet-to-wallet.

Create a simple crypto contract, send a payment link, and verify the payment on-chain. Build a track record with every completed contract — without Datronis holding your funds.

Datronis never holds, custodies, or releases your project funds. Payments go directly from the client's wallet to the freelancer's wallet — we only verify the transaction on-chain.

How Payments Work

Direct, on-chain, non-custodial

Step 1

Create a contract

Freelancer creates a direct crypto contract and shares a verified link with the client.

Step 2

Client pays wallet-to-wallet

The client sends payment directly from their wallet to the freelancer's wallet — Datronis is never in between.

Step 3

Payment verified on-chain

Datronis checks the transaction on-chain and marks the contract as a verified completed contract.

Supported wallet methods

Use Cases

Built for how freelancers actually get paid

Fixed-price development project

A freelance developer and a client agree on a fixed price in USDT. The freelancer shares a contract link, the client pays directly to the freelancer's wallet, and Datronis verifies the payment on-chain.

Design retainer, paid per milestone

A designer creates a separate contract for each milestone of an ongoing retainer, building a verified track record with every completed, on-chain payment.

Content writing, paid per article

A writer and a publication agree on a per-article rate. Each piece gets its own contract link, so both sides have a clear, shareable record of what was agreed and paid.

One-off consulting engagement

A consultant and a startup founder settle a one-time advisory fee in USDC on Polygon, using the Rate Calculator to agree on price and deposit upfront.

Transparent Pricing

You always know what you'll pay

Platform fees only — never deducted from project funds. Freelancers choose whether the fee is paid by them or added to the client invoice.

If the marketplace success fee is unpaid, the work may be marked completed, but not "verified completed" — reputation benefits are linked to fee payment, not blocked entirely by it.

Questions?

Frequently asked questions

Does Datronis hold or guarantee my funds?

No. Direct Crypto Contracts are non-custodial - Datronis never holds, custodies, or releases project funds. Payments go straight from the client's wallet to the freelancer's wallet, and Datronis only verifies that the on-chain transaction happened.

What exactly is a Direct Crypto Contract?

It's a simple agreement record with a shareable payment link. It captures the project scope, price, and token/network, giving the client and freelancer a clear, on-chain-verifiable reference for the payment.

How do I create a contract?

Contract creation is launching soon. Sign up below for early access and we'll notify you the moment it's ready - in the meantime, use the free Rate Calculator to price your project and prepare a proposal.

Which tokens and networks are supported?

USDT and USDC on Polygon and BNB Chain at launch, chosen for low fees and fast confirmations. More tokens and networks may be added based on demand.

What happens if a client doesn't pay?

Because payments are wallet-to-wallet, Datronis cannot force a payment to happen. We recommend agreeing on an upfront deposit - the Rate Calculator suggests one based on client risk - and confirming payment on-chain before handing over final deliverables.

How are platform fees charged?

Platform fees are billed separately from your project payment - they are never deducted from the funds sent between wallets. See the pricing table above for current rates.

Risk disclosure

  • Datronis is not a party to your contract and does not hold, custody, or guarantee any funds at any point.
  • On-chain crypto transactions are irreversible. Always double-check the wallet address, token, and network before sending a payment.
  • Datronis verifies that a payment occurred on-chain - it does not guarantee that a counterparty will deliver work or send payment.
  • Crypto asset values can be volatile. Agree on stablecoin pricing (USDT/USDC) with your counterparty to avoid disputes over price swings.
