Simple Process
Start studying in 3 steps
No configuration needed. Create, add cards, and the algorithm takes care of the rest.
Create Your Deck

Add Cards
Write the front (question/word/concept), back (answer), optional hint, and tags. Add as many as you need — no artificial limits.
Study & Let SRS Work
Flip each card, rate yourself (Again / Hard / Good / Easy) and the algorithm handles the rest. Come back tomorrow to review exactly what needs it.

The Science
How spaced repetition works
The SM-2 algorithm was invented in 1987 by Piotr Woźniak and powers Anki — the world's most popular flashcard app. Memo brings this same engine to the web with a beautiful, distraction-free interface.
After reviewing a card you rate your recall. The algorithm adjusts the next review interval — easy cards wait longer, hard cards come back sooner. Over time you spend less time reviewing while retaining more.
Forgetting curve
You forget 50% of new info within a day without review.
Spaced learning
Reviewing just before forgetting doubles retention efficiency.
After you flip a card, rate yourself:
Again
Complete blank — restart interval from day 1.
next interval
Hard
Remembered with difficulty — slow schedule growth.
next interval
Good
Recalled correctly with normal effort.
next interval
Easy
Instantly remembered — fast-track to long intervals.
next interval
Your brain deserves better than re-reading.
