By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what's possible and shape the future of mobility.</span></p></div><h3>Your Role: </h3> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and tooling to orchestrate ADAS/AD SIL (Software-in-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-Loop) simulations, including test execution, result collection, and reporting. </li> <li>Design and maintain tooling for large-scale regression execution, including scheduling, failure triage, log management, and metrics extraction. </li> <li>Support scenario-based validation by enabling tooling for scenario configuration, parameterization, execution, and result evaluation. </li> <li>Be responsible for creating tools for creating data visualizations either from scratch or leveraging open-source solutions such as Foxglove </li> <li>Update and maintain the automation tools based on feedback from users of the HIL and SIL system </li> <li>Develop an understanding of HIL and SIL simulation setup for L2++ and L3 ADAS/AD driving, safety, and parking functions </li> <li>Develop, maintain, and scale CI/CD pipelines for ADAS simulation workflows (e.g., per-commit smoke tests, nightly regressions), including integration with version control, build systems, and simulation farms. </li> <li>Monitor pipeline health, reduce execution time, and improve overall simulation reliability and debuggability. </li> <li>Support HIL and SIL development as necessary </li> <li>Work with suppliers as necessary and represent Lucid ADAS systems validation team. </li> </ul> <h3>Expectations: </h3> <ul> <li>Very good understanding of software development for automation tools, post-processing and application development </li> <li>Highly proficient in Python; working knowledge of MATLAB for analysis, modeling, and automation </li> <li>Working experience with object-oriented software design and API development </li> <li>Experience and comfort working with data from different sources and in different formats </li> <li>Strong experience working in Linux-based development environments, including shell scripting and automation </li> <li>Experience with containerization and environment management (Docker or similar) </li> <li>Basic understanding of ADAS/AD features or other physical systems </li> <li>Capability and creativity to successfully complete projects with unconventional ideas in highly constrained, innovative startup environments </li> <li>Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) & ownership mindset </li> </ul> <h3>Advantageous / Preferred Qualifications: </h3> <ul> <li>Previous experience working in HIL and SIL setups for validating ADAS features at OEM or Tier 1 </li> <li>Experience managing large volumes of simulation data, logs, and performance metrics </li> <li>Experience with C++ for simulation interfaces or performance-critical tooling </li> <li>Experience with scenario standards and formats such as OpenSCENARIO and OpenDRIVE </li> <li>Experience integrating simulation tools with ROS2 or similar middleware </li> <li>Understanding of SOTIF, ISO 26262, NCAP </li> <li>Broad understanding of various ADAS/AD systems and the interactions between mechanical, electrical and software components within the system </li> <li>Proficiency with agile development tools and environments (Jira, Jama, …) </li> </ul> <h3>Requirements: </h3> <ul> <li>BS minimum in System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar and 3+ years of engineering experience in the automotive industry OR</li> <li>MS minimum in System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar and 1+ years of engineering experience in the automotive industry </li> </ul> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>At Lucid, we don't just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
