Assistant Store Manager ? Needs Convenience (Saint John / Rothesay, NB) 673099 NB Ltd operates four Needs Convenience fuel and convenience stores in Saint John and Rothesay. We're hiring up to four reliable, hands-on Assistant Store Managers, one for each store, to help lead the store and keep it running smoothly every shift. What you'll do: - Supervise and coordinate sales associates and cashiers on shift - Build weekly work schedules and assign daily duties - Train new staff and help with hiring, onboarding and performance check-ins - Authorize refunds, returns and payment issues - Prepare sales, cash and inventory reports, and help complete weekly paperwork - Make sure the store meets Needs Convenience standards for cleanliness, safety, compliance and customer service - Run the store when the Store Manager is away - Serve customers and cover cash as needed What we're looking for: - Supervisory or leadership experience, retail or convenience an asset - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong English communication skills - Dependable, organized and calm under pressure - Available for early mornings, evenings and weekends What we offer: - Full-time, permanent positions (minimum 35 hours per week) - Clear path to Store Manager: we promote from within Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 35.0 per week Work Location: In person
