About the Role The company is seeking a Generative AI / Backend Developer to build AI-powered products and scalable backend systems for its cybersecurity platform. This role combines backend engineering, generative AI integration, SaaS development, and cloud deployment. You'll help design and develop systems that integrate with generative AI models, automate security workflows, and operate across cloud and on-premises environments. The position is suited to an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, exploring emerging AI technologies, and contributing to architecture and product direction in a startup environment. Key Responsibilities •Design and develop backend systems that integrate with generative AI models and APIs. •Build scalable SaaS applications that automate complex cybersecurity workflows. •Integrate generative AI technologies into product features and backend services. •Evaluate emerging AI tools, models, and research relevant to the company's products. •Optimize containerized application deployments across cloud and on-premises environments. •Contribute to backend architecture, system design, and technical decision-making. •Work with relational, non-relational, and graph databases to support application requirements. •Develop reliable services that support scalability, performance, and maintainability. •Collaborate closely with founders and engineering leadership on product development and technical priorities. •Contribute to building AI-powered security automation solutions that address customer needs. Required Qualifications •At least 5 years of software development experience. •Strong backend development experience using Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar technologies. •Experience working with SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases. •Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). •Hands-on experience with generative AI tools, models, or APIs, including OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight models. •Experience developing SaaS platforms and backend services. •Understanding of application security concepts. •Strong communication and collaboration skills. •Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving startup environment and contribute to technical decisions. Preferred Qualifications •Experience deploying and optimizing containerized applications across cloud and on-premises environments. •Familiarity with emerging generative AI technologies and developments. •Experience designing scalable backend architectures for AI-powered products. •Ability to work closely with startup founders and engineering leaders to shape product direction.
