Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Barista/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, cash handling, and customer engagement within a vibrant food service setting. Duties * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks following standardized recipes. * Operate POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling. * Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience. * Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items, maintaining cleanliness of workstations, and following food safety protocols. * Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with health and safety standards. * Ensure timely service during busy periods by managing multiple orders efficiently through effective time management skills. * Follow food safety guidelines for handling, storing, and serving food products to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Qualifications * Previous experience as a Bartender/Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. * Bartending experience/course. * Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. * Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism. * Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.
