Beach Hill Smokehouse is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team! We?re seeking someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service. * Process customer orders and payments accurately using the POS system. * Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions. * Assist customers with menu questions and provide recommendations. * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming cashier station. * Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and team members. * Follow all food safety, hygiene, and restaurant procedures. Qualifications & Requirements * Previous cashier or restaurant experience is an asset. * Valid Smart Serve certification is required. * Valid Food Handler Certificate is required. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Basic math skills and attention to detail. * Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Reliable, punctual, and a team player. * Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
