Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. The position involves providing comprehensive dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall operations of the dental office. Responsibilities * Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to maintain optimal oral health for patients. * Take dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies. * Assist in the management of patient records using Cleardent. * Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth workflow during patient visits. * Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment. * Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy. Requirements * Valid BCCOHP registration as a Licensed Dental Hygienist. * Minimum one year experience in a private dental clinic. * Experience with Cleardent is an asset. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately. * Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
