Key Responsibilities * Provide attentive, compassionate care to hospitalized and overnight patients. * Monitor patients? vital signs, clinical condition, and recovery. * Administer medications and treatments as directed by the attending veterinarian. * Assist with emergency procedures, diagnostics, and patient stabilization when required. * Maintain accurate medical records and communicate important patient updates to the veterinary team. * Perform nursing duties, including feeding, cleaning, patient handling, and maintaining a safe, comfortable environment. * Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly escalate concerns. * Maintain cleanliness, infection control, and proper handling of medical equipment. * Ensure thorough patient handovers between shifts. Qualifications and Skills * Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) qualification or eligibility for registration, if required for the position. * *Foreign Veterinarian * * Previous veterinary hospital experience preferred; emergency or critical care experience is an asset. * Strong animal handling, patient monitoring, and nursing skills. * Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail. * Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a busy clinical environment. * Comfortable working independently overnight while collaborating with the veterinary team as needed. * Reliable, compassionate, and committed to high standards of patient care.
