e-commerce manager
Description
Company Overview We build premium precision rifle components: chassis systems, bipods, actions, and the components serious shooters depend on. We do not compete on price, and we do not discount. We win on product, on support that is genuinely better than anyone else in our space, and on the experience we give our customers. We are growing fast, and we are building the team to match. The role We are looking for a hands-on E-commerce Manager to own our direct-to-consumer storefronts across the US, Canada, and EU. This is a builder and operator role, roughly 80 percent execution and 20 percent leading a small team. You will own CX & conversion, not traffic. Our content and brand teams drive demand. You turn that demand into revenue on the site. What you will own * CX & Conversion rate optimization across all three Shopify storefronts: product pages, navigation, checkout, and the mobile experience. * A disciplined testing program. Every meaningful change is a hypothesis with a measured result. * SEO and AEO/GEO. We want to be found in traditional search and in AI-generated answers. * Paid media. We do not currently run much paid acquisition. You will stand it up and own it across Meta, Google, and the channels that fit a premium brand. * Product page strategy and our product configurator project. * Merchandising and compatibility surfacing, helping customers find the right products for their setup. * Storefront analytics in GA4. You own the numbers and report on what is working. * Leading our small ecommerce development team. What we are looking for * A proven CRO track record. You can point to specific lifts you drove and explain how you got them. * Deep Shopify expertise, ideally across multiple storefronts. * Real paid media experience. You have managed budgets and can show the return. * Strong SEO fundamentals and genuine familiarity with AEO. * Fluency in GA4 and a testing-first mindset. * The judgment to grow conversion without discounting. We will never lean on promotions to move product, so the usual promo-driven playbook does not apply here. If your results depend on markdowns, this is not the right fit. * A bonus, not a requirement: you shoot, or you understand the precision rifle space. You do not need to be an expert, but affinity for our customer matters. Details * Reports to: VP of Sales & Marketing * Team: small E-commerce development team, with support from product, marketing ops, and content teams * Location and work arrangement: In-office strongly preferred, remote/hybrid potential for the right person Pay: From $75,000.00 per year Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Extended health care * Paid time off * RRSP match Application question(s): * Please outline one of the conversion lifts you drove. What was the baseline, what did you test, and what was the result? * How many Shopify storefronts have you managed at once? Experience: * Shopify: 3 years (preferred) Work Location: In person
