About The Role As a Mid-Level Front-End Engineer at Cedar, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our consumer-facing web application. Your work will directly influence the user experience, helping families understand and navigate their homeownership options. You will own the development of key features, collaborate closely with product and design teams, and utilize cutting-edge AI tooling to accelerate development and improve product outcomes. Qualifications Approximately 3+ years of experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with a strong focus on responsive design for mobile and desktop Experience working with APIs, including REST and GraphQL Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools integrated into development workflows Interest in and enthusiasm for AI tooling and its application in software development Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude Bonus qualifications include experience with Figma, accessibility standards (WCAG), and a good eye for design aesthetics.
