**WE COVER TRANSPORTATION (shuttle service to-and-from site, ONLY out of Saskatoon, Prince Albert or Creighton), MEALS, & ACCOMMODATION WHEN AT SITE. **Job is located at the Eldorado Mine site, approximately 3.5 hours northeast of Prince Albert and 85 km west of Flin Flon, MB. **SHIFT WORK IS REQUIRED (11-hour days); WORK SCHEDULES ARE 2-WEEK IN-AND-OUT ROTATIONS. Housing Attendants (Housekeepers) are responsible for housekeeping duties at remote northern sites, such as mining facilities and exploration camps. Duties must be completed in accordance with contract standards & specifications. Duties & Responsibilities:- Sweep, mop, and wash floors.- Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, and area rugs.- Make beds.- Clean and sanitize all areas as assigned.- Collect garbage.- Clean rooms to required specifications.- Follow company policies and procedures.- Other duties as assigned. Things to consider, lets not waste your time:- Requires shift work at remote sites - mining facilities & exploration camps.- You must be a team player, who works well with others. Qualifications:- Ability to work in a fast, thorough, efficient manner with attention to detail.- Housekeeping experience would be a strong asset.- A valid Drivers license with a safe driving record is a strong asset.- Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid, recognized first aid certificate.- Ability to perform housekeeping duties in a safe and efficient manner.- Knowledge of safety procedures associated with working with hazardous products, including WHMIS.- Ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.- Physically capable of performing the assigned duties.- Must be prepared to work at site during holidays & weekends.- Must be fit for duty & able to safely fulfill the job requirements in remote settings.
