Housekeeping Supervisor Location: Super 8 Whitecourt Position Type: Full-Time Are you a motivated, detail-oriented leader who takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests? We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our hotel team in Whitecourt! The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and passionate about maintaining high cleanliness standards while supporting and motivating our housekeeping team. Key Responsibilities * Supervise, support, and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure rooms and public areas meet hotel cleanliness standards. * Inspect guest rooms and common areas to ensure quality, cleanliness, and readiness for guest arrivals. * Assign daily room cleaning duties and coordinate staff schedules based on occupancy and business needs. * Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and hotel policies. * Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen inventory, and cleaning equipment. * Communicate with the front desk and maintenance team regarding room status, guest requests, and maintenance issues. * Address cleanliness concerns promptly and professionally. * Help with room cleaning and other housekeeping duties when needed. * Maintain workplace health, safety, and sanitation standards. * Support positive guest experiences by ensuring rooms are clean, comfortable, and ready on time. Qualifications * Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment required. * Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is an asset. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment. * Good communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as required. * Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving supplies.
