Fort Saskatchewan Home Hardware Building Centre is hiring a full-time Lumber Yard Associate. You will load and unload materials, keep the yard stocked and organized, and serve our yard customers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Load and unload materials safely using forklift, pallet jack, lumber cart and banding machine. * Greet customers, answer product questions, and help gather and load their orders. * Keep the yard clean and the inventory neat, orderly and in the right locations. * Know where all inventory and equipment is kept. * Take on special projects assigned by your supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience safely operating forklift, pallet jack, lumber cart, banding machine and panel saw. * Able to move materials weighing up to 100 pounds on and off trucks and pallets. * Communicate well with customers, management and coworkers. * Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
