Registered Physician Assistant BayWest Medical Centre ? Ajax, Ontario BayWest Medical Centre is seeking a Registered Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing medical team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with family physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centred care in a family medicine and urgent care setting. Position responsibilities * Conduct patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations * Assist physicians with diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care * Provide patient education and appropriate counselling * Order and interpret investigations as permitted within the PA?s scope of practice and applicable regulations * Assist with minor procedures and clinical services * Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in the EMR * Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and clinic staff * Support both family practice and urgent care services as required * Maintain a professional, respectful, and patient-focused approach at all times Qualifications * Registered Physician Assistant in good standing with the Ontario regulatory body * PA education from an accredited program * Previous clinical experience in family medicine, urgent care, or a related setting is an asset * Strong clinical assessment and communication skills * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and the healthcare team * Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) is an asset * Professional, reliable, and organized Position details Location: BayWest Medical Centre, Ajax, Ontario Position: Registered Physician Assistant Employment type: Full-time How to apply Please email your resume to baywestajax@gmail.com with ?Physician Assistant? as the subject line.
