Position Summary Entity Mechanical is hiring Journeyperson Plumbers and Plumbing Apprentices for project work in Lake Louise, Alberta and the Radium / East Kootenays region of British Columbia. We have several exciting mechanical projects underway in the region, including federal government contracts involving upgrades and replacement of plumbing, heating, ventilation, and mechanical systems. This is a great opportunity for experienced Journeypersons as well as apprentices looking to gain solid commercial mechanical experience while working on interesting projects in one of the best areas of Western Canada. What You'll Be Working On Projects will include a variety of mechanical construction and upgrade work, including: * Commercial plumbing and mechanical installations * Boiler and hydronic heating system upgrades * Pumps, piping, valves and mechanical equipment * Baseboard and heating system replacements * HVAC and ventilation upgrades * Equipment replacement and retrofit projects * Mechanical room upgrades * Testing, commissioning and project closeout * Reading and working from mechanical drawings and specifications Who We're Looking For Journeyperson Plumbers * Red Seal or recognized Journeyperson certification preferred * Commercial or institutional mechanical experience * Strong plumbing and mechanical installation skills * Experience with hydronic heating and boiler systems is an asset * Able to read drawings and work independently * Reliable, productive and committed to quality workmanship Plumbing Apprentices * All apprenticeship levels considered * Commercial construction experience is an asset * Interested in learning plumbing, heating and mechanical systems * Willing to work alongside experienced Journeypersons and continue developing their trade * Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious What We Offer * Competitive wages based on experience and certification * Company vehicle provided for applicable positions * Extended health and benefits * Steady project work * Government and institutional projects * Opportunity to work on substantial mechanical upgrades rather than repetitive residential construction * Experienced project management and technical support * Opportunities to grow within Entity as we continue expanding throughout BC and Alberta About Entity Entity is a growing mechanical and electrical contractor headquartered in Langley, BC, with operations expanding throughout British Columbia and Alberta.
