Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber and Gasfitter to join our dynamic team, must be an experienced journeyman that can read blueprints as some part-time quoting would also be required in the office . This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of plumbing and gas fitting projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality installations and maintenance. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to the successful completion of construction, manufacturing, and maintenance tasks across diverse environments. Your expertise will help deliver reliable systems that meet safety standards and client specifications, all while fostering a collaborative and energetic work atmosphere. Duties * Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial settings * Perform gas fitting tasks such as connecting and servicing gas lines safely and efficiently * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations * Utilize hand tools, calipers, and welding equipment (MIG, TIG) to complete fabrication and assembly tasks * Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to ensure optimal operation * Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical manuals * Rigging for lifting heavy components safely during installation or repair processes Requirements * Valid certification as a licensed plumber and gasfitter with relevant local regulatory bodies * Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance within construction or manufacturing environments * Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, and general welding techniques for fabrication tasks * Strong understanding of HVAC systems along with the ability to read schematics accurately * Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills for precise measurements * Knowledge of rigging procedures for lifting heavy equipment safely during installations or repairs * Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively * Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to safety protocols Join us in delivering top-tier plumbing and gas fitting solutions that keep systems running smoothly!
