About The Role TechDigital Corporation is seeking an experienced React Native Developer to build and enhance high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver reliable, accessible, and visually appealing cross-platform experiences. You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from understanding user and product requirements to implementation, testing, release, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate combines strong mobile engineering expertise with sound judgment, curiosity, and a commitment to creating maintainable software. Qualifications Candidates should have at least eight years of professional mobile application development experience, including three or more years of hands-on experience with React Native and JavaScript or TypeScript. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Applicants should have a strong understanding of React Native architecture, including hooks, context, and state management, along with experience building, testing, and maintaining production mobile applications. Additional qualifications include experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Firebase, and third-party libraries; familiarity with offline functionality and local data persistence; and the ability to investigate performance, memory, and reliability issues. Experience with native Android development using Kotlin or Java, or iOS development using Swift or Objective-C, is an advantage. Candidates should understand mobile security practices, including encryption and secure storage, and be familiar with CI/CD pipelines, version control, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows. Experience with Firebase analytics, crash reporting, app distribution, and App Store and Google Play release processes is also valuable. Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Responsibilities You will design, develop, and maintain cross-platform applications using React Native, creating clear, responsive interfaces from product requirements and design mockups. You will help architect and optimize codebases to support performance, scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability. You will integrate backend services and third-party tools, and implement offline capabilities and local data persistence where needed. When React Native alone does not meet a product requirement, you will help extend application functionality through native Android or iOS modules. You will also write and review code in line with team standards, contribute to testing and debugging, and identify opportunities to improve application performance and user experience. Working closely with colleagues across product, design, and engineering, you will communicate progress, clarify technical requirements, and support informed implementation decisions. You will participate in mobile release and deployment workflows, help maintain CI/CD processes, and keep up to date with relevant React Native tools, libraries, security practices, and mobile development trends.
