registered veterinary technician (RVT)

Duties - Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals - Perform laboratory tests and procedures, such as bloodwork and urinalysis-in clinic abaxis machine - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians-lots of time to spend with clients - Prepare animals for surgery and monitoring for surgery/anesthesia -Dental procedures with dental x-ray machine -Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and work areas Qualifications -Registered Veterinary Technician diploma -Active registration with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour Benefits: * Extended health care * Flexible schedule * Paid time off * Vision care Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * RVT registration with ABVMA (required) Work Location: In person
