Senior Accountant ? Public Accounting Job Type: Full-time, Permanent *Annual Compensation: *$75,000?$95,000 per year Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.?5:00 p.m. Location: Toronto, Ontario ? In Person The Role We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. The role is a blend of the following: * Compilation engagements * Audit and review engagement work (condominiums, etc.) * Corporate income tax returns (T2) * Contributions to personal income tax returns (T1), seasonally * Project management: Taking a file from start to finished * Showing leadership and mentor junior and intermediate accountants * Interfacing with clients Qualifications The successful candidate will have: * Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting * Strong experience preparing compilation engagements * Experience preparing T1 and T2 tax returns * Working knowledge of Caseware Working Papers * Working knowledge of Taxprep or Profile * Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop * Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills Compensation * Salary of $75,000?$95,000, based on experience * Bonus opportunities * Professional growth and advancement opportunities How to Apply Please email your resume to gwarren[at]gwpc[dot]ca.
