Senior Backend Software Engineer

Spinquest is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in the United States on a remote basis. We are building a high-growth platform that blends social gaming with innovative currency mechanics creating seamless, real-time experiences across games. We're creating next-gen sweepstakes gaming experiences that are fast, fun, and highly scalable. What You'll Own Design and scale backend systems powering gameplay, payments, and user experiences Build reliable APIs and integrations (including third-party systems) Architect secure, audit-friendly systems for transaction processing Optimize performance for real-time, high-traffic environments Drive infrastructure and database design (Postgres, cloud, etc.) Collaborate closely with product and frontend to ship end-to-end features What You Bring Strong experience with TypeScript + Node.js (NestJS/Express a plus) Proven ability to design scalable, reliable systems Experience with transactions, integrations, and system architecture Solid database skills (especially PostgreSQL) Security-first mindset with attention to data integrity and traceability Comfortable working autonomously in a startup environment Bonus Background inGaming/iGaming, fintech, WebSockets, or real-time systems $160,000 - $190,000 a year Annual performance bonus: 10% –15% Benefits & Total Rewards We believe great talent deserves great benefits.
