Sr Backend Software Engineer

OP is partnering with a fast-growing iGaming startup building the next generation of sweepstakes-based gaming experiences, operating at the intersection of gaming, technology, and user engagement. Their platform enables seamless cross-game interactions powered by innovative mechanics. With plans to triple in size this year, they are looking for builders who thrive in fast-paced environments where ideas move from concept to live product in weeks. We are building a high-growth platform that blends social gaming with innovative currency mechanics, creating seamless, real-time experiences across games. We re creating next-gen sweepstakes gaming experiences that are fast, fun, and highly scalable. What You Ll Own Design and scale backend systems powering gameplay, payments, and user experiences. Build reliable APIs and integrations (including third-party systems). Architect secure, audit-friendly systems for transaction processing. Optimize performance for real-time, high-traffic environments. Drive infrastructure and database design (Postgres, cloud, etc.). Collaborate closely with product and frontend to ship end-to-end features. What You Bring Strong experience with TypeScript + Node.js (NestJS/Express a plus). Proven ability to design scalable, reliable systems. Experience with transactions, integrations, and system architecture. Solid database skills (especially PostgreSQL). Security-first mindset with attention to data integrity and traceability. Comfortable working autonomously in a startup environment.
