Job Overview We are hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join the team at Student Health Pharmacy in Waterloo. This position pays $18.00 per hour with 2 years relevant experience and requires 25?30 hours per week. It is well suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care. Responsibilities * Process prescriptions accurately using the Kroll pharmacy management system * Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and managing inventory * Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system * Provide friendly, professional service to patients and respond to inquiries * Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient record * Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within expected timelines Qualifications * Previous cash register or point-of-sale experience is required * Proficiency with Kroll Software is required * Strong computer and data entry skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Clear verbal communication and demonstrated customer service experience * Ability to work reliably in a busy environment with minimal supervision * Mandarin language skills are considered an asset Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Education: * Secondary School (required) Experience: * Cashiering: 2 years (required) * KROLL : 1 year (required) * Pharmacy technician in Canada : 2 years (required) Work Location: In person
