VFX project manager

Project Manager ? Construction & Restoration Bender Construction is looking for an experienced, organized, and driven Project Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable managing multiple active job sites at the same time, coordinating trades, communicating with clients, and taking responsibility for projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities * Manage multiple construction and restoration projects simultaneously * Attend job sites regularly to review progress, workmanship, cleanliness, and scheduling * Coordinate employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and site supervisors * Build and maintain project schedules and ensure jobs stay on track * Review scopes of work, estimates, drawings, and change orders * Obtain and review subcontractor pricing * Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability * Ensure work is completed according to scope and company quality standards * Communicate regularly with homeowners, property managers, insurance/restoration clients, and other stakeholders * Ensure customers are satisfied throughout the project and address concerns quickly * Document job progress with site notes, photos, and updates * Identify deficiencies and ensure they are corrected before project completion * Coordinate material ordering and deliveries * Review jobs for invoicing and ensure completed work and extras are properly captured * Manage several different trades including demolition, drywall, painting, carpentry, insulation, flooring, cabinetry, and other construction scopes * Work closely with our office, estimating, accounting, and construction teams * Take ownership of projects and solve problems as they arise What We're Looking For * Previous construction Project Manager experience strongly preferred * Restoration or insurance repair experience is an asset * Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction * Comfortable being in the field and visiting multiple job sites * Strong communication and customer-service skills * Ability to manage subcontractors and hold trades accountable for schedule and quality * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Ability to prioritize a large workload in a fast-paced environment * Comfortable working independently and making decisions * Valid driver's licence * Strong computer skills and ability to learn project-management software About Bender Construction Bender Construction is a growing construction company working throughout British Columbia. We specialize in restoration and reconstruction projects and work with many of the region's leading restoration companies. We're looking for someone who wants more than a desk-based PM position. The successful candidate will be actively involved in their projects, regularly visiting sites, communicating with customers and trades, and making sure every job is moving forward.
