Select Door and Frame is actively seeking a experience Welder Fabricator to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for the fabrication of metal doors and frames as per company guidelines. The successful candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, show effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Job Duties * Welding and Machining Frames and Doors on various project work sites. * In house Door and Frame fabrication. * Measuring, cutting, fitting, and latching doors and frame fixtures. * Coordinating frame inventory. * Assisting with deliveries when necessary. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of worksite. * Adhere to all safety regulations and policies. * Other duties as reasonably assigned. Requirements: * 2 years of welding/fabrication experience (minimum). * Fabrication knowledge, skills, and abilities * Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job. * Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner. * Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule. * Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor. * Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. * Excellent measurement and mathematical skills. * Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures. * Possess a valid driver?s license. * Ability to pass an in-house welding/fabrication test.
