Eligibility

Criteria To apply, candidates must: Be a US citizen Be a non-UK resident Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience before departure Demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential Show intercultural sensitivity and ambassadorial qualities Have a genuine interest in learning about the UK and sharing American culture Demonstrate community involvement and extracurricular engagement Dual US-UK citizens are also eligible. Ineligible Programs The following are not eligible under this scheme: Part-time postgraduate degrees Distance learning programs Part-time research courses What Selection Committees Look For Competitive applicants typically demonstrate: Strong academic background Leadership potential Community service involvement Clear reasons for selecting a UK university Plans to contribute to the Fulbright mission after returning to the US Ability to promote mutual understanding between the US and UK
