About The Role We are seeking a talented JavaScript Developer (Contractor/Temp) with proficient expertise in React.js to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing user interface components that are both robust and scalable. Your primary focus will be on translating design wireframes into high-quality, reusable code that aligns with our project standards and workflows such as Flux or Redux. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and functionality across different layers of the application infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, contribute to the development of reusable front-end libraries, and enhance user engagement through sophisticated interfaces. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems/Management, Operations Management/Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields. Equivalent professional experience demonstrating proficiency in front-end development and related technologies will also be considered. Candidates should have strong technical skills, including expertise in JavaScript, React.js, and modern front-end workflows. Familiarity with data structure libraries, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and experience working with SQL databases are highly desirable. Knowledge of front-end build tools such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM, along with experience in version control systems, will be advantageous. The ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions is essential, along with a commitment to collaborative problem-solving and delivering high-quality products. Responsibilities Develop new user-facing features using React.js, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness. Build reusable, scalable components and front-end libraries to streamline development processes. Translate wireframes and design prototypes into high-quality, functional code that adheres to best practices. Implement handlebars templates for integration within various services and applications. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and optimize user experience. Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain code quality and application stability. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate new technologies and methodologies as appropriate. Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team to promote best practices.
