Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Title: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Location: Remote Need Candidates with Federal Government , DoD(Department of Defence) , FedRAMP , or other regulated-industry experience Note: This position supports U.S. Federal cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and manage scalable private cloud infrastructure supporting compute and storage services. Deploy and operate VMware , Kubernetes , and AWS/GCP cloud environments. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) . Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance, reliability, and security. Develop standardized OS images and deployment frameworks for bare metal, VMs, and cloud instances. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform resilience, automation, and operational excellence. Participate in production support and on-call rotations. Required Skills 7+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, or Platform Engineering . Strong hands-on experience with VMware , Kubernetes , and AWS/GCP . Experience with Terraform , Ansible , Helm , and ArgoCD. Proficiency in Python, Bash, Ruby, or Scala . Experience with private cloud, bare metal infrastructure, and file/block storage. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and enterprise infrastructure. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and production-scale environments. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of CI/CD, cloud-native technologies, and platform reliability best practices. Experience designing highly available, scalable, and resilient infrastructure.
