About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Web Developer II to join our IT team at NCCPA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing internal web content requests, coordinating with external vendors, and ensuring the accessibility, security, and optimal performance of NCCPA's websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, website security, and performance optimization, along with excellent project management and communication skills. The role reports directly to the Sr. Manager of IT Program & Project Management and operates within a hybrid work environment based in Johns Creek, Georgia, with remote work options for qualified candidates. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience as a WordPress developer Certification in WordPress development or web design Strong knowledge of website security best practices Experience with website performance optimization techniques Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong project management skills, including vendor coordination and cross-functional planning Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams and external partners Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to request management Responsibilities Maintain and optimize WordPress-based websites to support organizational initiatives, ensuring accessibility, performance, security, and usability standards are met Manage the web request process, including intake, triage, prioritization, assignment, SLA tracking, and providing proactive status updates to internal stakeholders Proactively communicate with customers and clients to clarify requirements, provide project updates, and confirm acceptance Coordinate with external web vendors to implement updates, enhancements, and validate deliverables, maintaining a predictable release schedule Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes to meet organizational needs Ensure timely execution of content reviews and updates based on predefined schedules Lead and oversee accessibility efforts, including scheduling audits, overseeing remediation, and documenting conformance with WCAG/ADA standards Track, analyze, and report on operational metrics and compliance status, recommending continuous improvement strategies Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, security, and performance Participate in RFP processes and manage technology upgrade initiatives as required Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals Benefits Competitive salary range of $80,500 to $90,000 per year Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans Retirement savings plan with employer contributions Paid time off and holidays Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options Professional development opportunities and training Supportive and inclusive work environment Participation in meaningful work that impacts healthcare professionals nationwide Equal Opportunity NCCPA is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all employees.
