Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will assist in various construction tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities * Assist experienced carpenters in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. * Help with the interpretation of blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects. * Participate in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed on job sites. * Support tasks such as caulking, installation of fixtures, and basic electrical work under supervision. * Engage in masonry work when required, ensuring quality standards are met. * Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. * Learn construction estimating techniques to assist in project planning. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Skills * Basic knowledge of carpentry principles and techniques is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with blueprint reading to understand project specifications. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. * Skills in caulking, installation, and construction painting are advantageous. * Understanding of electrical systems is a plus for diverse project involvement. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. * Willingness to learn new skills related to masonry and other construction trades. * Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
