Staff accommodation is available in double rooms for full time Sparkling Hill employees, working 40 hours per week. Perks and benefits include: * Deeply discounted room rates available to team members * Discounts on gift shop retail, food and spa treatments * Extended health benefits * Monthly employee incentives * Career growth opportunities in the form of promotions and department transfers to expand your knowledge and exposure to the industry Duties for this position will include: * Setup bar with necessary ingredients before service begins * Pour wine and beer * Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages * Provide consistent and high quality service at all times * Adhere to and assist in the development of recipes when requested * Maintain knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits on the menu in order to answer questions and provide excellent service * Setup and takedown bar at banquets and functions with all necessary supplies * Provide bar service at banquets and functions * Stop serving guests alcohol after it is determined they have consumed too much * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Completed bartending course preferred * Minimum 1-2 years in similar bartending position but willing to train the right candidate * Current Serving It Right Certificate * Knowledge of standard wines, beers, and drink recipes * Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environment * Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic * Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required * Reliable transportation essential Qualified applicants may provide a cover letter and detailed resume to Michael Wagenhofer at ExecChefGernis@sparklinghill.com .
