Cloud Engineer

Job Title: Cloud Engineer Location: Remote (United States) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms, automation, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices to support scalable and secure enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications and infrastructure. Collaborate with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines. Implement cloud security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and application issues. Maintain documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure management. Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, etc.). Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
