DevOps Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, remote DevOps Engineer role. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines that support secure, scalable applications and cloud infrastructure. Typical responsibilities include managing and provisioning infrastructure, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ensuring system reliability and performance in Linux-based environments. The role also involves collaborating closely with software development and security teams to integrate DevSecOps best practices, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve CI/CD workflows. The DevOps Engineer will document processes, monitor environments, and contribute to architectural decisions that enhance automation, stability, and observability. Qualifications Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills with experience designing, provisioning, and managing automated infrastructure environments. Experience with Continuous Integration practices and tools to build, test, and deploy applications efficiently and securely. Background in Software Development, with the ability to collaborate with engineering teams, review code-related deployment issues, and support DevSecOps practices. Solid System Administration and Linux skills, including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in production environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization/orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell) to automate operational tasks and workflows. Knowledge of security best practices for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and application deployment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
