DevSecOps Engineer Location: Herndon, VA (Onsite) Employment Type: Long-Term Contract About the Role We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with experience in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes-based deployments, CI/CD automation, and security integration within enterprise platforms. This role will focus on building, automating, securing, and supporting scalable cloud-native environments across multiple tenant platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps practices with ArgoCD. Manage and support Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) environments, including namespaces, ingress controllers, and Helm deployments. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure, containerized workloads, and deployment pipelines. Support AWS services including EKS, IAM, ECR, Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, CloudWatch, WAF, GuardDuty, Cognito, and OpenSearch. Configure monitoring, logging, observability, and vulnerability scanning solutions. Collaborate with development, platform, and architecture teams to streamline deployments and operational processes. Manage secrets, identity, and access control using AWS Secrets Manager, Kubernetes Secrets, Keycloak, and Cognito. Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues across multiple environments. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Experience managing Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) environments. Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. Experience with Helm and Kustomize. Strong knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Experience implementing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD. Experience with Docker and Amazon ECR. Proficiency with Git and GitLab. Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Amazon Aurora. Knowledge of security and vulnerability scanning tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, AWS WAF, and GuardDuty. Experience with monitoring and logging tools including CloudWatch, OpenSearch, and Prometheus. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Node.js and Nx Monorepo environments. Knowledge of Java 17 and Maven. Experience with Python and Poetry. Familiarity with Redis and Neo4j. Experience supporting multi-tenant SaaS platforms. Knowledge of DevSecOps best practices in enterprise environments. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
