Front End Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Front End Engineer for a growing client in the technology industry in Raleigh, NC. The Front End Engineer position is a 6-month contract role. The Front End Engineer position is best suited for a developer with strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks and a passion for building high-quality user interfaces. Responsibilities of the Front End Engineer include: Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, and Redux Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, scalable code Optimize front-end performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility Collaborate closely with backend engineers and designers to deliver seamless user experiences Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices and standards Requirements of the Front End Engineer include: 3+ years of professional front-end development experience Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD processes Strong understanding of responsive design principles and front-end performance optimization Compensation for the Front End Engineer include: $50-$54/hr Potential extension or conversion opportunities based on performance Hybrid work flexibility This job opens for applications on 6/15/2026.
