Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Web Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining responsive websites and web applications while collaborating with designers, developers, and project stakeholders. Responsibilities Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using modern web technologies. Assist in designing user-friendly interfaces and improving website functionality. Collaborate with senior developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers on development projects. Debug and troubleshoot website issues and implement fixes. Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability. Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure website reliability. Maintain and update existing web applications and content management systems. Participate in code reviews and team meetings. Stay updated with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles. Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus. Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or Java is preferred. Understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Familiarity with version control tools like Git and GitHub. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to learn new technologies and development practices. Preferred Skills Experience working on academic, internship, or personal web development projects. Knowledge of REST APIs and web services. Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms. Basic understanding of web security and SEO principles.
