Job Title: Salesforce Developer (Hybrid - New York City) Location: New York City, NY (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Mid-Level to Senior Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our growing technology team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable Salesforce solutions that drive business processes across Sales, Service, Marketing, and other enterprise functions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week onsite in our New York City office and two days working remotely. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce Flows. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, administrators, and architects to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, APIs, middleware, and ETL tools. Build and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, approval processes, and security models. Optimize Salesforce performance, scalability, and user experience. Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support. Participate in code reviews and adhere to development best practices and governance standards. Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment procedures. Support release management activities and CI/CD processes. Stay current with Salesforce platform enhancements and recommend improvements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. Strong experience with: Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) SOQL and SOSL Salesforce APIs and integrations Salesforce Flow and automation tools Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience with source control tools such as Git. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required for some candidates). Salesforce Platform Developer II certification preferred.
