About The Role We are seeking a Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming design concepts into fully functional, interactive websites using custom WordPress themes and plugins. You will work closely with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to create seamless web experiences that are optimized for performance, accessibility, and SEO. Proficiency with Gutenberg blocks and a thorough understanding of the WordPress core software at the code level are essential. Experience working with preprocessor languages such as SASS, SCSS, or LESS, and familiarity with Flexbox for responsive design are required. Candidates should have hands-on experience with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket and a solid understanding of ADA and SEO best practices. Bonus qualifications include agency experience, familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React, and experience with task runners and JavaScript compilers. A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and self-education is highly valued. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from Figma design files, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation. They will collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to bridge the gap between visual design and technical development, creating websites, platforms, and web applications. Responsibilities include building responsive websites compatible across all devices and browsers, optimizing sites for speed and scalability, and performing cross-browser compatibility testing. The developer will leverage advanced custom fields and other WP plugins to enhance functionality, while adhering to ADA and SEO standards. They will also be expected to proactively identify and resolve bugs, maintain clean and efficient code, and ensure the security and performance of all web projects.
