Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and team-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service and preparing high-quality beverages in a fast-paced food service environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and creating a welcoming experience for every customer. Previous experience as a barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required, training can be provided to the right candidate. Responsibilities * Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards * Take customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service * Operate POS systems, accurately and efficiently * Process cash and other transactions accurately using basic math skills * Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment * Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures at all times * Assist with food preparation and food service tasks as needed * Manage time effectively and serve customers promptly during busy periods * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers and team members * Work collaboratively with the team to support smooth day-to-day operations Qualifications * Previous experience as a barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided * Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor * Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions * Familiarity with Micros POS is an asset * Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment * Strong time management and organizational skills * Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures * Previous serving experience is an asset but not required * Willingness to learn and work as part of a team Join Our Team Join our team and help create exceptional coffee and customer experiences in a supportive, fast-paced environment that values quality service and teamwork.
