Ethical Electrical is looking for two registered Construction Electrician Apprentices for potential upcoming electrical projects in Regina and the Echo Valley area. These positions are subject to contract award, final project schedules and confirmed manpower requirements. We are especially interested in 2nd-, 3rd- and 4th-year apprentices who want solid commercial construction experience and are comfortable working as part of a productive crew under journeyperson supervision. POTENTIAL WORK Commercial lighting and controls Emergency and exit lighting Fire-alarm installation Underground conduit and electrical distribution Feeders, panels and electrical equipment Outdoor and campground electrical construction General commercial and institutional electrical work COMPENSATION Competitive apprentice wage based on registered apprenticeship level, directly relevant experience and demonstrated ability. Exact wage and project conditions will be confirmed before employment begins. Overtime, travel, lodging and other project conditions, where applicable, will also be confirmed before employment begins. REQUIREMENTS Registered Saskatchewan Construction Electrician Apprentice in good standing 2nd-, 3rd- or 4th-year apprentice preferred Valid Class 5 drivers licence Reliable transportation Basic ability to read electrical drawings and follow layouts Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code appropriate to apprenticeship level Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to take direction and work safely with journeypersons and other apprentices Clean, organized workmanship Commercial construction, institutional, fire-alarm, underground-distribution, large-feeder or electrical-equipment experience is an asset.
