DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer Remote / FTE or Contract / Must be currently based in the US Our client, a Data and AI Consulting firm, is seeking an experienced DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer to deploy and configure AtScale's semantic layer platform in a client environment. You will stand up the infrastructure, deploy AtScale via Helm on a managed Kubernetes cluster, configure storage and networking, and ensure the platform is stable and production-ready. This is a hands-on implementation role — not an advisory position. ENVIRONMENT Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP Managed K8s: EKS / AKS / GKE Warehouse: Snowflake / BigQuery / Redshift / Databricks KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provision and configure a Kubernetes cluster to AtScale production spec (3-node, 48 CPU cores, 192 GB RAM minimum Deploy AtScale via Helm charts, referencing AtScale's K8S Blueprints repository Configure storage to meet 5,000 IOPS minimum for embedded PostgreSQL replication Set up networking, ingress, and security policies (RBAC, secrets management Stand up monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent Coordinate with the client's cloud/security team on IAM permissions and network access Validate deployment health and document the environment for client handoff Support the Semantic Modeler during data-warehouse connectivity setup REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 3+ years hands-on Kubernetes administration (EKS, AKS, or GKE) Helm chart deployment and customization Docker and container troubleshooting Strong on the client's cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Infrastructure as Code — Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation Linux systems administration Storage configuration & performance tuning (IOPS, volume expansion) RBAC, secrets management, and network policy configuration PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Prior AtScale deployment experience Deploying data/analytics platforms on K8s (Databricks, dbt, Airflow) PostgreSQL administration CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Argo CD) Show more Show less
