DevSecOps Engineer

DevSecOps Engineer – Edge Platforms Frisco, TX | Full-Time An innovative technology company is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to help build and operate next-generation edge deployment infrastructure across embedded Linux and Kubernetes-based environments. This role will focus on containerized edge deployments, embedded Linux platforms, CI/CD automation, and secure device lifecycle management across distributed IoT and edge systems. What You’ll Be Doing: Build and maintain Kubernetes/K3s edge deployment infrastructure Develop CI/CD pipelines for embedded Linux and containerized applications Support Yocto, Buildroot, Debian, and Ubuntu-based platforms Automate device provisioning, updates, monitoring, and fleet operations Improve security across software supply chain, OTA updates, and device authentication Work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams on scalable edge platform solutions What We’re Looking For: 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering Strong Linux systems engineering background Experience with Kubernetes, Docker/containerd, and CI/CD pipelines Hands-on experience with embedded Linux platforms such as Yocto or Buildroot Strong scripting/programming skills in Bash, Python, C, or Go Experience with edge/IoT deployments is highly desirable Nice to Have: K3s, ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform, Ansible ARM-based hardware and embedded device management OTA update systems such as Mender, RAUC, or SWUpdate Security technologies including secure boot, TPM, encryption, and certificate management Excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge edge computing and connected-device technologies in a highly technical engineering environment.
