Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Remote (USA) Employment Type: Full-Time Visa: H1B Transfer / H1B Sponsorship Available Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure across multi-site and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, network security, and troubleshooting complex network issues while supporting business-critical operations. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or similar networking equipment. Manage routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS connectivity. Implement and support VPN technologies (Site-to-Site, Remote Access, IPSec). Configure and maintain firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or Check Point. Monitor network performance and proactively identify bottlenecks. Perform network capacity planning, upgrades, and optimization. Collaborate with cloud teams to support networking in AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures. Participate in on-call support and incident resolution activities. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on Network Engineering experience. Strong knowledge of: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, STP BGP, OSPF, EIGRP MPLS and SD-WAN VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) Network Security and Firewall Management Experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ISR, ASR, Meraki, or equivalent platforms. Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or ThousandEyes. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as: CCNA CCNP Enterprise CCIE (Preferred) Palo Alto PCNSE Fortinet NSE Experience supporting cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or REST APIs. Nice to Have Experience with Zero Trust Architecture. Experience with SASE solutions. Exposure to F5 Load Balancers. Experience in Healthcare, Banking, Telecom, or Financial Services environments. Show more Show less
