Network Engineer

Network Engineer Contract-to-hire On-site Maumee, OH We're hiring a Network Engineer to join a global IT team in a manufacturing environment. You'll be keeping Cisco LAN/WAN environments running, supporting Nexus data center kit, and helping roll out upgrades across sites. There's a good mix of day-to-day support and project work, including SD-WAN, network segmentation, and OT/IT separation. There's also a wireless side to the role, including troubleshooting coverage and performance in busy manufacturing environments. Responsibilities Day-to-day support of Cisco LAN, WAN, and Nexus data center environments Configure and support Palo Alto firewall technologies, threat monitoring, and incident response Deploy and troubleshoot enterprise wireless networks in manufacturing settings Support SD-WAN rollout, segmentation, and device lifecycle refresh projects On-call rotation for network incidents Travel to manufacturing sites to support upgrades and commissioning Requirements Network engineering experience Cisco routing, switching, and wireless (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, QoS) Palo Alto firewall experience Comfortable in manufacturing or high-availability environments Cisco or Palo Alto certifications preferred Cloud networking basics a plus (Azure or Oracle OCI) Details Fully on-site - Maumee, OH Some travel to manufacturing sites required Must be eligible to work in the US Show more Show less
