About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining a robust delivery framework for websites that meet our clients' diverse needs. As a key contributor, you will combine your design sensibility with technical expertise to develop custom, handcrafted frameworks that enhance website performance, scalability, and user experience. You should have a solid grasp of accessibility standards in WordPress themes and page design, ensuring websites are usable by all users. Familiarity with npm task runners such as WebPack, front-end testing tools, and asynchronous request handling through REST APIs, AJAX, and GraphQL is essential. Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and experience working with WordPress APIs, theme hierarchy, and custom Gutenberg block development are also important. Candidates should be proficient with version control systems like Git and comfortable using project management tools such as Jira and Slack. Excellent documentation skills and the ability to migrate existing websites into WordPress are preferred. Optimize websites for maximum performance, scalability, and accessibility, conducting regular performance tuning and page load time analysis. Deliver high-quality, functional, and testable code within established deadlines, adhering to Agile methodologies and best practices. Document code modifications, plugin developments, and theme customizations thoroughly to facilitate future maintenance and upgrades.
