Senior Network Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure Kansas City, MO Remote – must be remote but within 2-4 hours in Kansas City, MO We are seeking a Senior Network Enginee r to support a large-scale infrastructure modernization initiative focused on cloud adoption, data center transformation, disaster recovery, and network modernization. This role will design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available networking solutions across enterprise and cloud environments . Key Responsibiliti esDesign and support enterprise routing, switching, wireless, WAN, and data center networking solution s.Architect and implement AWS and Azure networking services, including VPCs, VNets, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, VPNs, firewalls, and hybrid connectivit y.Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performanc e.Partner with cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver cloud-ready network solution s.Support Zero Trust initiatives, network segmentation, disaster recovery, and business continuity plannin g.Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence initiative s. Required Qualificati ons7+ years of enterprise network engineering experien ce.2+ years of hands-on AWS networking experien ce.Strong expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, load balancing, and network securi ty.Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, or similar enterprise networking platfor ms.Proven experience designing and supporting hybrid cloud networking environmen ts. Preferred Qualificat ionsAWS Advanced Networking Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or CCNP certificati ons.Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Git, Python, PowerShell, and network automat ion.Experience with cloud security, landing zones, governance frameworks, and disaster recovery architectu res.Background supporting large enterprise or highly regulated environme nts.
