Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will own existing enterprise apps, support financial data pipelines, and help strategically restructure internal data processing subsystems. Essential Responsibilities Backend Dev & Support: Enhance and support internal and vendor apps for portfolio valuation, accounting, and analytics. Optimization & Standards: Design scalable data subsystems and contribute to shared frameworks for code reuse and automation. Production Support: Work with Finance and Portfolio Management to fix app issues, pricing exceptions, and data anomalies. Mentorship: Guide junior team members on software engineering best practices. Required Qualifications & Skills Tech Stack: 5+ years of backend experience with C# / .NET Core and T-SQL . APIs: Proven experience building and integrating RESTful APIs . Domain: 2+ years in financial services , asset management, or banking. Agile: Experience managing sprints via Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello. Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and communication skills to work directly with business stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Data Engineering: Python, ETL pipelines, schema design, or Spark-based data workflows. Cloud & DevOps: Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and Redis/NoSQL. Finance: Knowledge of fixed-income instruments, mortgage products, or debt accounting systems. Eligibility & Work Structure U.S. Work Authorization: Unrestricted.
