Description

ABOUT VIRLO Virlo helps marketers, agencies, and software companies find and use short-form video data. Customers use Virlo to search videos, track creators and accounts, identify outlier content, export research, and access social-video data through an API. Some use the platform for internal research and marketing workflows. Others build Virlo's data into their own products and customer-facing tools. We're a small remote team, so engineers work directly with the founders, customers, and the people responsible for product decisions. THE ROLE Virlo is hiring a backend software engineer to work on the systems that collect, process, search, and deliver short-form video data. You'll build product features and API endpoints, improve data freshness and reliability, and investigate the production issues that come with processing large volumes of changing social data. A typical week could include adding an API endpoint for a customer workflow, fixing failed data jobs, improving search latency, and building internal tools that help the team understand API usage.
