Spatial Technologies provides high-quality measurement solutions and machine automation to civil/construction and Surveying firms to improve productivity, efficiency and margins. About the Role Spatial Technologies is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team. This role is responsible for accounts receivable, payroll processing, month-end accounting, reconciliations, inventory support, and credit administration. The successful candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Key Responsibilities * Manage Accounts Receivable collections and follow up on overdue customer accounts * Apply customer payments, credits, account changes, and maintain customer records * Contact trade references and perform credit checks for new customer account applications * Process payroll accurately and on time while maintaining payroll records * Prepare month-end journal entries * Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations * Support inventory cycle counts, annual physical inventory, and investigate inventory variances * Prepare and reconcile GST filings and other government remittances (if applicable) * Maintain accurate accounting records and support documentation * Provide administrative and accounting support as required * Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned Qualifications * Minimum 2 years of experience in a full-cycle accounting environment * Experience processing payroll accurately and confidentially * Inventory accounting experience is considered an asset * Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration Skills & Competencies * High attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent organizational and time-management skills * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off Application question(s): * Do you have experience processing full-cycle payroll? * Do you have experience managing customer collections and resolving overdue AR balances while maintaining positive customer relationships?
